had to share this recipe for the perfect summer drink... simple, refreshing and gorgeous! your guests will love you for serving this at your next cookout... i got the recipe from my aunt who served it on Memorial Day...then we served it at a small gathering in celebration of Father's Day... it was a big hit, both times!...now, i'm thinking i need one right now and it's only 10am :) ...here's what you'll need for the recipe- a pitcher of crystal light lemonade, a jar of maraschino cherries (with stems), a few lemons and a bottle of Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky... Here's the breakdown: 2 oz. lemonade, 2oz. bourbon, 1 tsp. maraschino cherry juice (although i used more to get a pinker color), juice from one lemon wedge and garnish with skewered cherry & lemon wedgeCHEERS, darling!
