Hi! My name's Elizabeth but everyone calls me EB. I'm the face behind the flowers & feathers of Posies & Plume. I'm newly wed to the sweetest husband, Matt. Taloulah is our dachshund & her fiesty attitude matches her sassy name. We all live together in an adorable loft in Louisville, Kentucky. By day I'm an art director in the advertising biz and by night and on the weekends I'm a crafter/photographer/marketing director/Jane of all trades for P&P. When I have free time (which is rarely) I like to trail run, decorate the house, meet friends for tea, read glossy magazines, study nutrition, be outside, sit on my grandparents' back porch for a visit with family, serve at Sojourn, do some yoga, go on road trips and scavenge for great finds in antique & vintage shops. You know, all the normal stuff.

Created as a place to compile ideas and images to provoke new designs for Posies & Plume, the blog has evolved into dumping grounds for anything EB finds interesting. It's classified as a design blog focused on fashion, crafts, photography and art with a splash of personal posts here & there on topics from "food" to "finds." The purpose of the blog is to capture craft adventures & provide design inspiration to readers.
ABOUT POSIES & PLUME:
P&P was born in the summer of 2009, fostered by the encouragement of fellow crafter friends & a random Martha Stewart Living Magazine article, with the goal of selling at one free-booth craft fair. Since then business has expanded to include custom wedding designs & styles incorporating vintage jewelry. P&P operates an online shop and makes daily posts to the blog. The handmade fabric flowers and feathers of Posies & Plume dress up girls AND guys: whether looking for an elegant wedding accessory, an alternative to a party hat or just something unique for everyday wear.
