long weekend...

long weekends are the best...
wanted to share some pics from my activities this weekend...

breakfast with my friend, Karey, who is very nearly the best cook i know... we drank coffee & ate these delicious lemon poppyseed muffins that she made from scratch... yep, not a mix, just out of what she had laying around the casa, last minute....ah-mazing! & i brought strawberries... from scratch too :) ... we had a great little chat & then i met Matt at Goss Avenue Antiques & Interiors ...my favorite all-time favorite...i've lost count of how many great bargins i've found there on furniture in the "Rough Room"... we were looking for a bookshelf to aid in organization of our merged possessions... but no luck...still managed to snap some cool pics of the "Rug Room", "Lighting Room" & "Garden Patio"...it's like a treasure hunt every time i go & digging through everything always let's you discover something neat you had never expected... Monday we had a family cookout...always the BEST food there & the BEST company including my dental student sister, uber talented cousin, fashion designer auntie, fabulous grandma & Hatty, my Uncle Peter's chicken... always entertaining when there's a chicken at the family gatherings... always...
